Frozen espresso martini

If you love espresso martinis, give this frozen version a go - perfect as a dessert or on a hot summers day.

Time to make : 5 minutes

Serves : 2

Ingredients

60ml cold brew coffee or espresso (frozen into ice cubes)

120ml vodka

60ml Kahlua (or any coffee liqueur)

Method

  1. Add your frozen coffee ice cubes into a blender. Pour in the vodka and coffee liqueur. Blend until smooth. Add more ice cubes if you need a thicker consistency.

  2. Pour into a chilled coupe glass and top with 3 coffee beans.

  3. Enjoy!

Good to know:

  • Some people like adding a simple sugar syrup in for a touch of sweetness - I don't find you need this if you're using cold brew coffee but you could add in 40ml of simple sugar mix for added sweetness if you like. You can also add in flavoured ones (such as salted caramel) for a twist.

  • Use decaf if you're caffeine sensitive.
